2023

Dr. Clair Enthoven (co-applicant) received two vouchers from ZonMW: 1) Predictors for late entry of antenatal care use of €10.000 and organizing a conference about unintended pregnancy of €10.000.

Dr. Linda Dekker and Dr. Daphne van de Bongardt, in collaboration with others, were one of the winners of the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences (ESSB) dragons den with our international pilot study on the intersection of genderidentity, neurodiversity, and culture. The team will do a mixed-method pilot study to investigate gender diversity in various populations.

Dr. Clair Enthoven and Dr. Samira van Bohemen, in collaboration with others, were one of the winners of the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences (ESSB) dragons den with their research project ‘Beyond the pill: Exploring contraceptive choices’ using theater at festivals.

2022

Dr. Clair Enthoven (co-applicant) has received the Vital Cities and Citizens Open Door Call, Growing up in poverty: Resilience factors for Opportunity Inequalities in health and education of €140.441.

Dr. Linda Dekker received the Ter Meulen grant (25.000 euros) for a research visit to Tufts University, Boston, USA to investigate Psychosexual functioning of adolescents and young adults: specifically the impact of gender (identity) and sexual education.

Dr. Samira van Bohemen received a Small-Scale Initiative Digital Approaches to the Social Sciences from the Netherlands eScience center, consisting of an in kind contribution of a research software engineer for 1150 hours.

2019

Dr. Daphne van de Bongardt has received a grant from the Netherlands Organization for Health Research and Care Innovation (ZonMw) of 398.785 euros.

Dr. Samira van Bohemen received a EUR Fellowship award of 135,000 euros, from the board of Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Dr. Helen Tibboel and dr. Linda Dekker have received a Fonds SOS grant from the Dutch Scientific Society for Sexology (NVVS) of 4,500 euros.

2018

Dr. Daphne van de Bongardt won the Erasmus University Research Award, worth 7,000 euros.

2017

Dr. Daphne van de Bongardt has received a Veni grant from the Dutch Research Council (NWO) of 250,000 euros.

Dr. Samira van Bohemen has received a Fonds SOS grant from the Dutch Scientific Society for Sexology (NVVS) of 4,000 euros.

2016

Dr. Daphne van de Bongardt has received a Fonds SOS grant from the Dutch Scientific Society for Sexology (NVVS) of 4,500 euros.

2015

Dr. Samira van Bohemen (co-applicant) received 238,000 euros from the Dutch Fund for Sexuality Research (FWOS)
