    Developmental psychopathology, serious games, digital interventions, social skills and relationships, depression, anxiety, substance use in youth

    Rutger Engels is a full professor in Developmental Psychopathology. His fundamental and applied research focuses on the early stages of substance use, depression and anxiety in children and adolescents. He is passionate about taking science to the frontline where it matters most, and developing state-of-the-art prevention programs that will have a far-reaching, international impact on policy and practice.

    Developmental cognitive neuroscience, self-regulation, social development,  adolescents

    Eveline Crone is a full professor of neurocognitive developmental psychology. In her research, she focuses on the psychological and neural processes involved in self-regulation and social development. All of her work employs a developmental cognitive neuroscience approach to examine the relation between brain development and changes in psychological processes from birth to adulthood, with a special focus on adolescence. One of her special interests involves enrichment of cognitive and social experiences of children and adolescents using longitudinal, training and intervention designs.

    Danielle Remmerswaal is assistant professor in clinical psychology at EUR. She is Academic Lead of the EUR wide Student Wellbeing Programme which is aimed at improving wellbeing and personal development of students. Her research interests relate to student wellbeing, e-mental health, social media use and ecological momentary assessment.

    e-health and digital behavior change, mental health, addiction, cognitive bias modification, research methods

    Marilisa Boffo is an assistant professor of clinical psychology and e-health. Trained as a clinical psychologist and research methodologist, she combines the two worlds into the evidence-based design and systematic investigation of digital interventions for behavior change.

    Her research focuses on translating behavioral science insights into creative digital solutions bringing a tangible impact in the lives of their users.

    Camila is a PhD candidate at DPECS. She is working to understand how to best use design to sustainably engage users in digital interventions and behaviour change.

    Tajda is a PhD candidate at DPECS. In her work, she is translating traditional therapeutic approaches into digital formats and researching which approaches work best for whom, when and why.

    Student wellbeing, Software development

    Djameela is a project lead on the Student Wellbeing Program. She is integrating the scientific research and design of digital interventions with the software development process. She also conducts research on the state of student wellbeing at the EUR.
