Awarded annually by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), the 250.000 euro Veni grant is one of the most prestigious and highly competitive grants for young researchers. This year the procedure for candidates (applying to the domain Social Science and Humanities) has changed to a two-stage submission: pre-proposal and full proposal. The deadline for pre-proposals is on 28 August 2018. Only pre-selected candidates will be allowed to submit their full proposal early January 2019.
In the workshop 'How to obtain a Veni grant?' you'll learn more about the 2-stage application procedure, writing a funding proposal abstract and preparing your CV. Furthermore, Dr William Koster (a laureate, reviewer and committee member) gives you tips and tricks about obtaining a Veni grant. See the full programme below.
Are you unable to attend on 7 June?
Those who will not be able to attend the Veni Workshop on Thursday 7 June, 2018 (40 places available), will have the opportunity to attend the Veni Workshop on Wednesday, 13 June 2018 in T3-42, from 14.00 until 16.30 hrs., organized by Veerle van Laere, RSM Director of Grant Development (20 places available). The programme will be somewhat different, though equally exciting.
