Profile
Dr. Isabelle Fabbricotti is an associate professor of Health Services Management and Organization at the Institute of Health Policy and Management, Erasmus University. Her main field of expertise is integrated care and new care arrangements such as integrated delivery systems, care-chains and franchising. Fabbricotti has extensive experience with the evaluation of large-scale, complex, and multidisciplinary interventions. She is and has been involved in experimental and intervention-focused studies in the field of care for the (frail) elderly, dementia, stroke, COPD and hip fractures. She received the Prof. Dr. Burema prize for a comparative study into the quality of care and the consumption of care in old people’s homes, nursing homes and homes suited to all ages. Fabbricotti holds a master degree in Health Sciences from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and a doctorate from the same institution.
