I am a “product” made in China. After being assembled with a Ph.D. in Management, I was “exported” overseas. Prior to joining Rotterdam School of Management as an assistant professor, I held visiting/postdoctoral positions at Texas Christian University, and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
My research takes a behavioral perspective on organizations, with particular emphasis on the role of feedback, cognition, and institutions. I study these topics in the context of corporate governance, organizational adaptation, and entrepreneurship.
I spend my free time on bouldering as a beginner, coached by my wife, Siyu.
I go by Z (/zi:/).
