The application period for Master and Pre-master’s programmes for the 2027–2028 academic year opens on 1 November 2026 for applicants with an international diploma obtained outside the Netherlands. Submission deadlines vary depending on your nationality.

Step-by-step application process
Before submitting your application check the admission requirements for the programme you are interested to see if you are eligible.

Register as a student in the Dutch national student registration system, Studielink and choose the programme you want to apply for. This is not your actual application!
- Choose the type of study programme “WO Master” if you are registering for a Master programme or “WO Bachelor” if you are registering for a Pre-master programme.
- Select 'First Year Student', EXCEPT if you are applying for the English Language Pre-master, then select ‘Advanced Year’.
- Please note: You can select your specialisation during the second step in the EUR Admission Portal.

After registering in Studielink, you must complete your application in the EUR Admissions Portal. Here you will choose your specialisation, upload required documents, and (if applicable) pay the €100 non-refundable application fee.
- After registration in Studielink, you will receive an e-mail with the subject “Follow up to your Studielink application” with a link to the EUR Admissions Portal.
- Log in with your ERNA details (sent in a separate email after your Studielink registration).
- Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with a summary of your application.
Please note that you will receive several automated messages during the application process, so be sure to check your spam or junk folder regularly.
Erasmus School of Economics offers several specialisations within the Master in Accounting, Auditing and Control. When you register in Studielink, you apply for the Master in Accounting, Auditing and Control and not for a specific specialisation (for example, not directly for “Accounting and Finance”).
You will select your preferred specialisation later in the EUR Admissions Portal when completing your application.

Important: All students graduate with a Master in Accounting, Auditing and Control. You do not graduate with a degree titled Master in Accounting and Finance, for example.
Please note that if the original documents are in a language other than English or Dutch, you must provide both copies of the originals and official (certified) translations. Self-made translations will not be accepted.
The following list contains all required documents. Additional documents, such as motivation letters or letters of recommendation, will not be considered.
Upload a scanned copy of your Bachelor diploma, or a declaration of expected graduation if you have not yet graduated. Download the declaration of expected graduation template, complete it and have it signed and stamped by your university official. Only certified declarations of expected graduation are accepted.

If you are admitted based on a certified declaration of expected graduation, you will be requested to provide a certified copy of your diploma.

Submit a scanned copy of your official transcript (final grade list) or, if you are still studying, your most recent grade list. If the reverse side contains information, include that as well. The transcript must be signed and stamped by a university official; screenshots will not be accepted.
If you have completed additional studies (e.g., a second Bachelor degree, a Master degree, or a study abroad term), please include the corresponding transcripts (and diplomas, if applicable) in your application, following the guidelines above.
If you have not yet graduated, please submit an overview of all ongoing courses and the credits that they are worth.

A Curriculum Vitae is required to give insight into the chronological order of your academic career. We do not take work or any extra curriculars into consideration when evaluating admissibility.
Important:
- It is your own responsibility to make sure your documents meet the admission and application criteria before the application deadline. This means that if your documents do not meet the application and admission criteria and the application deadline has passed your application can be cancelled.
- Check your email’s spam or junk folder to make sure you don’t miss important messages from the university. If you find an email from us there, add our address to your contacts to prevent this from happening again.
- Applicants who use a @qq.com email address are requested to use a different email address for their application and future communication with the university because of compatibility problems.

The deadline to apply for the 2026-2027 academic year has passed. Applications submitted will no longer be accepted and any incomplete applications will be cancelled. Please check our website again in the fall for next year’s application period.
