The Master Study Board SABERxEFR is responsible for serving all Behavioural Economics students. After the fuse of the two study associations SABER and EFR, the SABERxEFR Master Study Board has made it its mission to offer Behavioural Economics students everything they do not learn in a regular classroom. Every year, a group of students that are enrolled in Behavioural Economics themselves organise various events that help students develop themselves, orientate on different sectors and build their network. Through various social, educational and career-related activities, the association is a meaningful addition for this group of students.

The social events are aimed at getting to know your fellow classmates and have a good time. Through educational events like guest lectures, we aim to widen your knowledge in your field. Finally, the career related events help you get acquainted with the field of business and get in contact with future employers

Perhaps the most inspiring event of last year, a perfectly organized trip to the PCBS2020 conference in Prague, had to be cancelled due to corona. This year however, the new Master Study Board will make sure to match or even top last year’s success. See you soon!

MAEUR is the recognised marketing study association of Erasmus University Rotterdam. Our events allow any student who is interested in (data) marketing to be more familiar with the field, and to create more well-rounded marketeers from Erasmus’ marketing students. We do this with a variety of professional events throughout the year, which connect students to professionals on the forefront of all areas of marketing. Aside from this, we have social events – such as our drink on every first Wednesday of the month – workshops, trainings, and Inhousedays for our members. Our mission is to provide a springboard where students can put theory to practice, expand their network, and improve their skills for their future, all while being part of a diverse and fun community of like-minded students.

The most glorious part of MAEUR are the committees. We have ten committees who each have their own function. From organizing a big event for fellow students to making the MAEUR yearbook, and from planning a study trip to a European city to organizing social activities for all the active members. These committees are filled with students from a wide variety of studies and nationalities. Transito is the official study association of the Erasmus School of Economics for students in the Master program Urban, Port & Transport Economics (UPTE). The association is completely organised by students and has the aim to offer a glance at the world behind the studies. Transito comes from the Latin word for ‘transit’, acting as a passage between students, university and companies. By providing chances to students and alumni through organising professional and social activities, Transito tries to give meaning to its name. Via the organisation of events Transito attempts to be the link between study and business and provide a broader perspective on and understanding of chances present.

Transito has a lot to offer current students of the UPTE program. There are a lot of social activities going on during the year, for examples ice skating, drinks, and a BBQ. Besides that, an annual study trip is also an amazing experience. Finally, we help you build your career, organizing various events and providing you with information about all the interesting career opportunities.

Introduction weekend

By choosing the UPTE master, you will get the opportunity to meet new friends in the introduction weekend to Antwerp. We value new friendships, also in the last year of your studies. With students sharing the same interest, these friendships are easily made. Transito offers a night away in Antwerp in the beginning of September to get to know each other and to discover the city! This weekend also gives an opportunity to ask questions to our board members and find out whether you would like to be part of the next years board which is recruited after the introduction weekend.
