Virtual reality for behavioural research
Erasmus Behavioural Lab (EBL) houses a high-quality virtual reality lab designed for in-depth psychological research on sensory perception, multi-sensory integration, attention, and various other behavioral paradigms.
We have a dedicated VR expert on staff to assist with your project's development. Researchers can also take advantage of our custom VR project template, developed for the Unity game engine, to get studies up and running quickly.
Virtual reality lab specs:
The EBL virtual reality lab consists of three separate VR rooms, each offering approximately 4x4 meters of floor space. While we support multiple VR headsets, we recommend using the Varjo XR-4 due to its high-definition displays and superior eye-tracking capabilities.
Our virtual reality systems integrate with various physiological measurement systems, such as Biopac for biofeedback and EEG. Triggers are sent precisely and directly from the virtual environment to these recording devices for accurate data synchronization.
