Da-da-da-dááá: you don’t need to be an expert to quote Beethoven’s Fifth, but have you ever listen to the rest of it? Now performed live by Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.

About Beethoven 5:
Da-da-da-dááá: you don’t need to be an expert to quote Beethoven’s Fifth, or at least the first five notes. But, after that iconic beginning, the musical genius just keeps on growing. If there’s just one symphony that you have to hear live, then it’s this one. And what better way than performed by Rotterdams own Philharmonic Orchestra.

About Core Classics:
Looking for a nice night out? Try classical!
A Core Classics evening is a combination of going out, and getting acquainted with live classical music in a spectacular way.

Imagine entering the Doelen foyer. The bar is open, a DJ is creating a relaxed vibe. Then, in the great hall – an experience in itself – you will listen to a classical masterpiece, executed by one of the top orchestras in the world.

Mind blowing experience
Beforehand, an inspired host ushers you into the work, telling you what it is that makes the music so exceptional.* You will know where to pay attention to during the concert, making your listening experience even more intense. About an hour of masterly joy later – a mind blowing experience allowing you to both feel and hear the music -, the bar will open again: just stay and chill.
*Introductory talk (partly) in Dutch

Conductor: Nathalie Stutzmann
Connesson: Flammenschrift
