To reach equity in academic success of diverse students in higher education, the curriculum needs to provide comparable learning opportunities and experiences for diverse students.

Using mixed methods, CLI Fellow Marieke Meeuwisse and Jana Vietze  explored the relation between diversity-related content integration in instructional materials and the academic performance of diverse students over the first-year in higher education. During this lecture they will present the results of their research.

This talk is meant for lecturers, students, researchers and other EUR employees.

The Community for Learning & Innovation (CLI) organises an Educational Research Lunch every two months. During these free lunch sessions a researcher will tell you more about their research project.
