Profile
Brigitte Hoogendoorn (1972) graduated in economics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands in 1996. Subsequently, she started her professional career as a consultant and trainer in the field of change management at the Dutch consultancy firm Pentascope. Brigitte Hoogendoorn is (co-)author of several management books on implementation and change. In September 2008 she joined the Department of Applied Economics at the Erasmus School of Economics. Her research interests are in the field of entrepreneurship, senior entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, and sustainability. Currently, she is assistant professor of entrepreneurship at the same department, she is program manager of the bachelor program Economics & Business Economics and coordinator of the ESE Bachelor Honours Class. She is a research fellow at Erasmus Social Entrepreneurship Center (ESEC).
