Step-by-step application process

Before submitting your application check the admission requirements for the programme you are interested to see if you are eligible.

Check our admission requirements webpage for more information.

After registering in Studielink, you must complete your application in the EUR Admissions Portal. Here you will choose your specialisation, upload required documents, and (if applicable) pay the €100 non-refundable application fee.

  • After registration in Studielink, you will receive an e-mail with the subject “Follow up to your Studielink application” with a link to the EUR Admissions Portal.
  • Log in with your ERNA details (sent in a separate email after your Studielink registration).
  • Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with a summary of your application.

Please note that you will receive several automated messages during the application process, so be sure to check your spam or junk folder regularly.

Please note that if the original documents are in a language other than English or Dutch, you must provide both copies of the originals and official (certified) translations. Self-made translations will not be accepted.

The following list contains all required documents. Additional documents, such as motivation letters or letters of recommendation, will not be considered.

Upload a scanned copy of your Bachelor diploma, or a graduation statement if you have not yet graduated. Download the graduation statement template, complete it and have it signed and stamped by your university official. Only certified graduation statements are accepted. More information about the graduation statement can be found on the Graduation Statement webpage.

If you are admitted based on a certified graduation statement, you will be requested to provide a certified copy of your diploma.

Submit a scanned copy of your official transcript (final grade list) or, if you are still studying, your most recent grade list. If the reverse side contains information, include that as well. The transcript must be signed and stamped by a university official; screenshots will not be accepted.

If you have completed additional studies (e.g., a second Bachelor degree, a Master degree, or a study abroad term), please include the corresponding transcripts (and diplomas, if applicable) in your application, following the guidelines above.

If you have not yet graduated, please submit an overview of all ongoing courses and the credits that they are worth.

Please make sure you meet the English language requirement for this programme as stated on the admission requirements page.

A Curriculum Vitae is required to give insight into the chronological order of your academic career. We do not take work experience or any extra curriculars into consideration when evaluating admissibility.

The Examination Board reviews each application individually to determine whether the level and content of your Bachelor’s degree are equivalent to our BSc Economics and Business Economics and whether all admission and application criteria listed on this website are met. If your previous education does not fully meet the requirements for direct admission to a Master programme, the Examination Board will also consider your eligibility for a Pre-master programme.

You will receive the outcome of your application by email within six weeks of submitting a complete application.

If your previous education does not fully meet the requirements for direct admission to a Master programme, the Examination Board will also consider your eligibility for a Pre-master programme.

Please note: Students holding a Dutch residence permit with study purpose, are allowed a maximum term of one academic year to complete the Pre-master programme, in accordance with the legislation of the Dutch Immigration Services (IND).

Upon receiving a positive admission decision from the Examination Board, you will receive an email requesting you to upload a certified copy of your diploma/graduation statement and transcript if these certified documents were not already present in your application. Please read the information regarding certified copies of documents.

Once the certified copies of your documents are reviewed and processed, you will receive an official admission offer via email accompanied with the terms and conditions as well as a newsletter for newly admitted students with important information to prepare for your arrival in The Netherlands.

  • Must complete the immigration procedure before 10 July.
  • This includes payment of the annual tuition fees via bank transfer.
  • Missing the 10 July deadline will result in the cancellation of your application.

  • You must pay the tuition fees by 31 August.
  • First, confirm your preferred payment method and bank details in Studielink.
  • Settle the payment via the method you confirmed.

Do you have questions concerning tuition fees or your Studielink account? Contact the Erasmus Student Service Centre.
