Student projects

‘Students for Students’ has been developed in the University Council. Students for Students encourages and facilitates innovation activities by students that contribute to the educational quality for students.

The CLI facilitates collaboration with students by actively involving them in innovation in education. This results in a joint effort to work on innovation and improving education.

Turing Society and the Community for Learning and Innovation

The Community for Learning and Innovation will be the new heart of the Erasmus University Rotterdam’s campus. A heart full of people that will work on ideas to innovate the EUR and education as a whole. Think of professors, admin and support staff… but also Students – all coming together to work on making education on the EUR greater than ever before and most importantly more relevant to the labor market of the 21st century.

The key part in this endeavor will be to build a community, and who better to partner up with in this endeavor than with Turing Society? Turing Society, through its student organization “Turing Students – Rotterdam”, has been active on the EUR campus for over two years now building a community of tech-leaders of the future by organizing various tech-educational events. The non-profit organization focusses on empowering students to make a positive impact in their communities, through tech education. Furthermore, over the past two years Turing Students - Rotterdam has made an impact on the lives of over 500 students through their web development bootcamps, workshops, and speaker events.

Consequently, there is a great fit between CLI’s efforts to build a community and Turing Society’s community of tech impact-makers and we are looking forward to the great things that will flourish out of this partnership!
