Development master programme Medical Business and Innovation

From the labor market within the life sciences sector (e.g., pharmaceuticals, e-health companies), we know there is a need for graduates that not only have knowledge of the life sciences but also have knowledge of managerial aspects, entrepreneurship and innovation. Also from the student perspective there is a need for a program that combines life sciences with entrepreneurship and innovation. Students studying medicine that do not want to become a doctor, now have limited alternatives.

Goal

The goal of this innovation project therefore is to develop a new master program that will be a collaboration between RSM and EMC, called Medical Business and Innovation. This master program will have to be designed from scratch to achieve its multidisciplinary nature.

Result

The master programme Medical Business and Innovation had its first student intake. This academic year (2022-2023), 19 students have joined.
