  • Veni Grant NWO - Dr. Jonathan Mijs

    Sociologist dr. Jonathan Mijs of the Erasmus University Rotterdam has been awarded 250.000 euro in funding from a Veni grant through the NWO (Dutch Research Council) for his project on the social origins and pliability of popular beliefs about inequality.


  • Erasmus Trust fund Grant - Dr. ir. Jasper Eshuis

    How do citizens respond to urban development plans and the construction of new real estate? In which ways can people regulate these emotions? These questions are key to the research conducted by dr. Jasper Eshuis of the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences. It is an interdisciplinary research that he will conduct in collaboration with psychology. He won a Timeless Grant of the Erasmus Trustfonds and started his overseas research adventure around October 2019.


  • NWO-Vidi Grant - Dr. Amanda Brandellero

    The NOW-vidi’s from the 2018 round have been awarded to six talented researcher at Erasmus University. One of the laureates is ESHCC’s dr. Amanda Brandellero. Taking a European comparative approach, this project uncovers how the values and practices of making and crafting locally (e.g. symbolic, societal, economic) can be harnessed by cities to support their transition to more circular forms of production and consumption.
